Anyone growing beans? Peas?

Beans are my favorite thing to grow in recent years. My son and I disagree on the merits of bush vs. pole beans. He grows bush beans, and I grow poles on my bean arches. I think nothing tastes quite as wonderful as Kentucky Wonders, but I'm always open to other varieties. Last year I added some Rattlesnake after seeing it had so many fans on GW, and I'm growing them again this year. I also added some Trionfo Violetto. These seeds are from Italy. The beans, flowers, and vines are all purple, and I'm looking forward to seeing them. They're a filet variety, so I must remember to pick them young.

I started one of the arches with peas this year: Super Sugar Snaps, which have rave reviews online. I started them late, so I haven't had a crop yet, although it's close. I'm also growing snow peas (Sugar Pod 2) and a dwarf sugar snap (Sugar Daddy) in big pots. Ditto on the crops, although everything looks healthy.

My son's snow peas and sugar snaps (I don't know the varieties) are vigorous! They're well over 6 feet tall, and we've all been eating off them for a couple of weeks. So good!

Here's one of my bean arches from two years ago. This year we dismantled that garden and moved the arch to join its twin on my terrace.

What are you growing?
