This is Crimson Stella my longest and most prolific bloomer. Introduced by Lowes, 7 maybe 8 years ago .The 'Ruby Stella' may be the same daylily. There was a lot of talk among daylily officialdom as to who was who at the time. I love it. As you see, the foliage gets pretty ratty as usual this time of year, but it flowers on and on.

socks, yes I do wear my pins. Of course I have favorites that I wear often and then some that haven't been worn for years. I have not read Madeline Albrights book. I remember putting it on my Christmas list at the time it was published, didn't get it then and had completely forgotten about it. Thanks Casey and socks for reminding me. I will be on a hunt for it. My portable herb garden. I put it next to the white wall to get good reflection. To bad it is on the west side of the house. I have to water almost daily. Come on cold weather. Another day of 80 degrees or warmer today. Ho-hum!
