It is phosphorous deficiency and both of the fertilizers you are using are low phos so some additional supplement is needed. Soft rock phosphate is the quickest acting organic, a dose of MG the fasted synthetic solution.. You can Google pics of 'phosphorous deficiency in tomato plants' for pics to compare if you wish. As Linda said, it is difficult to grow organically in containers. There is no soil food web to feed the plants so you have to provide all the nutrients on a regular basis and during periods of heavy rain that often means weekly. Dave.

Hello corduroy, "Stress" is the most common cause of leaf curl, specifically over or under watering. I believe what your plant needs is more water. 2-3 cups of water for a plant in a 6 gallon container every 3 days does not seem like enough to counter normal transpiration. Have you checked the moisture level in the growing medium 2-4 inches below the surface? GardenWebber sprouts_honor (Jennifer from Cleveland) had a wonderful suggestion on how to tell whether or not you need to water your tomatoes, and I quote here: "Get a wooden dowel rod (or two) and sink it in the ground near a plant or two and leave it. Pull it out when you think you need to water. If the top is dry and the bottom is a little damp, it's time to water. If it looks dark and feels saturated, wait to water. I use this technique with potted plants that don't like being over watered and it's helpful with in ground plants too." (For an indoor plant, I think I'd try a bamboo skewer.) Does your container have drainage holes? If it does not, them the problem may be that the roots are drowning because they are not getting enough air. And yes, those are adventitious roots (arising or occurring sporadically or in other than the usual location) on the stem. They will show up almost any place on a stem if the plant is stressed. Judging from the last picture (posted 5 hours ago) I see the yellowing starts from the lower leaves. In my view, plant is just aborting those older leave to support the younger ones . I would think lack of nutrients associated with too much moisture ( due to rain, bad drainage/soil). But There is a possibility of disease as evidenced in the earlier photos , showing lesions. I would take Steve's advice : Trim off all the yellowing leaves, as the is no chance for them to revive. In the meantime the offer and open door for disease. Next step is to fungicide the plants Third, feed them !
