Daltile (Rittenhouse Square) subway tiles--need spacers "yes" or "no"?

We are about to use this in a shower, but I know this is a much more active forum than the bath forum so I am asking here.

I've read conflicting things about the need for spacers when using this tile. Some things I have read say that the slight bevel of the tile is intended to be a spacer that will create a 1/16" allowance and is sufficient for grout lines. OTOH, I've also read that 1/8" regular tile spacers are needed because with the super narrow grout line created just by butting the tiles together the water in a shower will erode the very narrow grout lines away.

If you have used this brand subway tile, what did you do? Thanks.
