I need some advice. I planted a cacti seed mix a few weeks ago, and now I have 13 lovely baby cacti in a pot. I've been babying them and keeping them happily hydrated but not drowned by spraying the top frequently and giving them soft light.
The problem is, I'll be away from home for three days in a row, in the near future. Since I won't be around to mist them, how can I manage to make certain they won't dry out during these three days? I do have a water pick made of clay that is supposed to keep plants watered, but considering I have cactus soil (commercial) I don't think the water will diffuse enough in the soil to reach all the little seedlings. Or will it? What other options do I have to ensure their survival?
ETA: will they be ok if I put the pot in a ziploc bag with good starting humidity, in a north facing window? They'll still get light but are less likely to burn.
