Who is your favorite quilt pattern designer / quilter?
Comments (36)I'd have to say Ruth McDowell too. I have always loved her landscapes particularly the plaid ones. There's also a local quilter named Sue Rasmussen. I don't believe she's ever had a book published and I don't know if she has a website but I linked to some photos I found of a couple of her quilts. She works in so many styles it's amazing. Many of her quilts are highly detailed and many others are very whimsical. They're all knock outs and beautifully made. Here is a link that might be useful: Sue's professional photographer's site...See Morelooking for pattern for quilt block
Comments (6)Scaphappy, Yes!! I saw it in an advertisement for the American Quilt magazine but I never subscribed and I haven't been able to locate the magazine with this pattern. I would be forever grateful if you can find this pattern. I tried my hand at making up my own pattern, but there is something not quite right about what I am doing. Maybe the block is not square or ??? Thank you so much!!...See MoreQOTD - What's your favorite "go-to" pattern?
Comments (25)I remember years ago finding this pattern and thinking I should try it when magothyrivergirl posted a picture of one she had done. It was great and seeing it encouraged me to give it a try. I have to give her full credit for this one; I see lots of patterns I like and only try a fraction of them. If I hadn't seen hers I'm not sure I would have ever gotten to it. Thanks M!!! Kate...See MoreCopy Cat Quilt Block Pattern

You will find this a friendly and helpful group. If this is what you are looking for let me know. Sally in Louisiana...See Moreglassquilt
