I wanted to get back to you after reading a couple seeds needed immediate sowing. I don't think you'd be happy if they dried out. :( One seed is Voacanga. I should have written the other, but after reading hand-written notes, discovered I didn't jot the second seed. Where are your seeds now? I understand what you mean. Google is helpful, but talking to people who have first-hand experience is even better. I enjoy reading different opinions and success rates, too. Google didn't have any info for Elyotropis. It's certainly rare in the wild but not really so much in cultivation. It is rather commonly sold as a houseplant and discussions about it pop up from time to time in the Cactus and Succluents forum. Unfortunately your enlargement of the insects makes it harder to determine exactly what they are but the shape looks more mite-like than anything and the size is close, but jumping is not something mites do noticeably. That's more of a flea beetle thing. Maybe take a photo of the whole plant with the insects visible (if possible). What damage, if any, are they doing to your plant? Are you noticing any webbing or yellowing of foliage? Holes in the leaves? Mites seem to be one of the few pest issues with growing this plant as a houseplant but pretty much any outdoor insect can hitch a ride indoors..

Hello! I was wondering if any of you growers can help me find a rare plant? I am looking for Lapageria Rosea aka the Chilean Bellflower. A nice healthy good size plant or even a good size cutting (or two). I cannot find it anywhere in the US. That includes all of the auction sites and big nurseries. Therefore if anyone can help me find a plant or cuttings, I would be very thankful and would definitely compensate you for your time.
