I also have the 45" sink, at the fabricators now, finally settled on the Kohler Vinetta faucet. It has a significant "spout reach", 9.5 inches, which essentially means the pot of water you are filling can be that far away from the faucet base while still sitting under the running water, (without having to use the pullout sprayer). My faucet will be centered on the entire sink, not the large bowl, another reason I needed a reach. rjr has this same sink and faucet with pictures posted. The kohler karbon looks like it can reach to the next room, but I needed more traditional look. Love the look though. I love Laura in Lincolns double faucets. Hope that helps. Donna

remodel... we were careful and flushed the lines as well ... I was satisfied with my pressure until I saw yours (picture is in spray mode, correct?) I was thinking that perhaps I didn't want higher pressure for the splash factor. I'm still on my learning curve using it. It felt very awkward at first, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I have decided it's easier to use when left in the "down" position, verses leaving it looking arched like a normal faucet. Any tips you have to share?

Holly - I had exactly that issue. The good news is that it was easily solvable. When I realized by cutting board, etc. didn't fit, we called the granite installers. The woman on the phone said we should call Home Depot. ??? So we talked to her boss and he sent out the guys to have a look. The Kohler sink is long and likely to get a bow in the long side somewhere along the way. They saw exactly what the problem was and fixed it by gently and progressively wedging a padded 2x4 or two across the width all along the long sides. I think they had to release the silicon on the one side to make this work. Essentially they were pushing the bow back out to straight to get back to rectangular. It didn't take long, less than 1/2 hour from beginning to end, and nothing was damaged. All fixed and good as new. Love this sink.

I am wondering the same thing. I just decided it would be a good idea to get the Stages 45 sink (the basin size on the 33 was looking too smal). But would that be enough to reach all corners of this big boy, if I put it in the center (or any optimal spot)? I hate those Karbon faucets, and I don't even like the huge arcing ones that look like a hose is over the sink. Would one plain ol' fairly petite kitchen faucet with a pull out or separate next door sprayer be enough, or will I need two faucets? I hope not as I'm not fond of how that looks either and our plumbing is complicated enough. Any advice/experience?? Thanks!
