Pandora's Treasure. Never mind if you like the colors or form on this one, it is a great multiplier & always lots of bloom.

I thought I got a photo of Rock Solid, but apparently not. This one is going to have a really good year though. Several scapes are already putting out rebloom scapes, & it has only had one bloom so far. One fan is putting out a 3rd scape!

Butterfly Moon is so pretty. Tiger's Eye looks to be a bright one in the garden. All nice pics.

Thank you, Beth and haku! We've had a lot of cool weather and rain recently, I'm not sure if that's what causes the lack of pink in my Peace blooms or not. It's warmed up a lot recently. My Double Delight blooms have been on the pale side too. My Midas Touch got a slow start the first couple of years, but it's beginning to take off, one of my more BS resistant roses. Beverly is very fragrant, it's a good rose, mine is on multiflora. This year it has a pattern of almost continuous bloom.

Now for some seedlings. Because we breed for lates, we still have quite a few blooming This is a rebloom scape on All of My Love to You X Randy Stephens. As you might imagine, Bob loves this one. This is Apache War Dance X Sea of Cinders. It just doesn't seem to quit blooming and now it is putting up a rebloom scape. It's not a very large flower, but it gets your attention across the garden. If we have enough fans of this, it will be an introduction next year. It is Ashwood Inferno X Horns. We dabble in doubles. Here is But Wait, There's More X Never Too Late. This is Elena Kulpa X Unknown. This seedling was started last December. I think it has sepal problems. Notice the strange shape of the sepals. Sometimes it doesn't open at all. I wonder if this will get better as it matures. Last Man Standing X Cactus Bloom looked quite vibrant today. I continue to be impressed with this one. It has a complicated parentage--New Tangerine Twist X ((Southern Summer X Born to Run) X Gypsy Rose)). The flower is large too. That's all for today. Nancy

Yay!! I believe that your Tiger's Eye and Red Eyed Fantasy are the ones I sent last year? I finally get to see Tiger's Eye bloom....lol. It gave me a few blooms it's first year with me then it sulked and I never saw another bloom in 3 years. All this time it only needed to move south! Pandora's Treasure looks great and Butterfly Moon is so very lovely.

Tiger's Eye never had many buds here. Red-Eyed Fantasy just didn't make it. I like the color on Pandora's Treasure; however, I never found it to have much substance. Matthew Martin is an interesting daylily. It needs to be sited, though, so as to avoid splotchiness. Yours looks perfect. The pic of Pandora's Treasure seems much more purplish than it was here, but there are a combination of hues in the eye.

Great group of blooms! Tough to choose a favorite today. I really like Red Eyed Fantasy and Tiger's Eye. I added Pandora's Treasure last fall, but no blooms yet. Yours looks great. Matthew Martin is unique. I keep returning to your post to look at the color.

Lots of pretties--Butterfly Moon definitely catches my eye and Matthew Martin because it is very different in color.

Thank you Kay, Pandoras Treasure is really one my favorite. Julia, Butterfly Moon looked so much nicer today, more blue, but couldn't get a photo without the sun on it. Yes, Celeste, Tiger's Eye and Red Eyed Fantasy are the ones you sent, they are doing great. I don't think they missed a beat. The first couple of blooms on Tiger's Eye were off a bit, not splotchy, just not as defined & bright. I sprayed weed killer to keep a little pathway beside it, I suspect I got a bit too close. I haven't counted buds, but seems to be at least average so far. Now I've probably jinxed it! I'm surprised you mentioned no substance on Pandora's Treasure, mantis, I'll pay more attention. I know yesterday it was still nice at the end of the day. The dark sections had a definite sheen. Not a really hot day though, but I don't remember ever noticing a problem with it except for those really hot day. I don't think I have a flower in the garden that doesn't feel it then. You are right Matthew Martin needs to be sited. I had it planted close to a shrub, I think it dripped dew on it & it was often splotchy. I moved it to its present spot & it has been really nice since. Very unique color. Hope you get blooms soon on Pandora's treasure, Lori, seems like you should be ahead of me.

That clump of Pandora's Treasure is magnificent! Red Eyed Fantasy is eye catching, and Butterfly Moon has a lovely pattern, shape and color.
