Severe aphid damage on plum tree

Just wondering if there is anything you can do for severely infested aphid damage on plums. They seem to be attacking the Japanese hybrid plums first. My waneta produced a lot of fruit last year now this year not a single leaf isn't gangled by aphids. I sprayed with a commercial air power sprayer with horticulture oil to get under the curled up leafs but it didn't seem to help the tree and these things are spreading. I thought just letting natural predidtors control them early was best but not so o should have sprayed with oil early. I tried sevin spray . I'm not sure if I should just cut all the branches off now and hope that helps ? Might be to much stress pruning heavy
