Looks like a tomato plant but wrong leaves. What is it?

Comments (9)Greetings to all you veggie gardeners out there. Just a quick update. I noticed that some of the younger leaves are also yellowing now. Even some of the very young leaves. I did remove all of these infected stems and leaves. I did a search on GardenWeb's Forums and think that I correctly identified the disease. The leaves starting from the bottom to change color, from a healthy dark green to a yellowish color. And then turning brown in color and crispy in texture. Thus, indicating that the leaf has died. No photosynthesis is any longer possible. It is called: Verticillium wilt & Fusarium wilt. The usual symptoms and damages to the plants include: "These soil fungi invade roots and cause yellowing, stunting & rapid wilting. Spread by water, seeds and tools. More prevalent in warm, dry weather." Comments (5)The leaf at the bottom of the photo might have gotten a bit pinched by the seed coat. No problem. I've seen much worse damage to cotyledons.
