Need to Replace Natural Gas Grill
Comments (2)As you can probably tell from the number of entries in this newsgroup, there are a lot of fans of the Members Mark Grill available at Sams Club. I am a new owener of this grill and am extremely happy with it. So far I have done rotisserie chicken, burgers, chicken breast and wild turkey on my new grill and this grill does an awesome job. Installation is very easy, and for the money, you can't beat it....See MoreNatural gas line connection to grill
Comments (3)I had a plumber run a natural gas line out to my Weber grill. He then installed the natural gas adapter to the Weber grill. There is a shut off valve near where it comes out of the house. And one in the basement which I shut off if I'm not going to be using it for awhile, like over the winter. I can't tell you how much easier it is than schlepping those heavy gas tanks (not to mention running out while grilling something!) and how easy it is to turn it on and off. I simply turn the valve on, then turn the grill knobs to "on" and grill as long as I want. Then when it's time to turn it off, I turn off the knobs and then the valve. If I buy a new gas grill I'll buy one that is designed for natural gas use. Having the natural gas hookup has made grilling as easy as using my gas stove inside. So far as the igniter, my broke early on, but I didn't replace it. I just use one of those red pistol type candle lighters that fit in the lighting hole safely. Whoooshhhh!...See MoreWhat's the Best Natural Gas Grill for under $1K?
Comments (3)Try more Costcos and look for the Virco before buying. It really is wonderful (in my experience) & has more BTUs, stainless, etc. than the Members Mark. Has an amazing thick cover, etc....See MoreNatural gas for outside grill
Comments (2)I used 3/4" CSST to extend a gas line under a deck and then to a quick disconnect. The grill then connects to the quick disconnect via a flex hose. Be sure you understand the electrical bonding requirement for CSST if you use it. The disconnect allows you to disconnect the grill to take it in for the season if you want. We positioned ours so that we can use the grill on the upper or lower deck. I used 3/4" pipe and stubbed in a tee so I could have the option for a radiant heater in the future if I wanted. the link below is for examples. I'm not endorsing a product or a website. Here is a link that might be useful: disconnect and hoses...See MoreChanop
