Trouble with tomato seedlings

This is my first year starting seedlings, and I'm really struggling. They start off great, but then the bottom branches, which appear healthy and normal, fall off. The remaining leaves curl under, and the plant stops growing. The seedlings are by a windowsill with supplemental CFLs above them. I am using MiracleGro potting mix. The mix contains fertilizer, and I have not used any additional fertilizer. I stick my finger in the soil to make sure it is dry a couple inches down before bottom watering. I end up watering about once every 5-7 days. They've been indoors their entire life, so no herbicide exposure. Here are some pics of seedlings that I sowed on 4/20. They look leggy, but that's because their lower branches fell off. :( Where am I going wrong?
