Comments (6)It's also a possibility, if the 2nd (middle) number of your fertilizer's NPK %s (phosphorous) is/was higher than the 1st or 3rd number, you're seeing the effects of P being present in the soil at toxic levels, inhibiting uptake of Fe and Mg (iron and magnesium), which can cause chlorotic foliage. Skip the coffee grounds - they make more issues than they remedy. If you need to acidify the soil, get some pH paper or a pond test kit. Add enough white vinegar or citric acid to a gallon of water to bring the pH down to about 5.2-5.5. Each time you water or fertigate, use the acid treated water. Make sure you're not over or under-watering. That would be the first thing I'd want to check off the list as not causal. Al...See MoreLeaves are yellowing on Meyer Lemon - PLEASE HELP!
Comments (7)Pamela, anytime..In fact if you treat it's not just a one one time deal, you must treat or spray for mites at least three weeks a few days apart at least 4 times...Then, keep your trees clean all summer constantly watering the leaves top and bottoms..Then you will have to treat it before it comes in at least 3 weeks out to make sure they don't come in for next winter......See MoreYellow Meyer lemon tree leaves!
Comments (3)Yellow-vein chlorosis (yellowness that follows the veins) usually means nitrogen deficiency while the blotch could be a micronutrient that's lacking. Citrus needs a regular fertilizer that's high in nitrogen. Dyna-Fro Foliage Pro and Osmocote Plus both work well for citrus plants. Edit to add: is the yellowness just in a few of your oldest leaves? I notice in the background there are nice dark leaves as well. Leaves do die and drop off naturally as part of their life cycle. If its just one or two I wouldn't worry. However, if you aren't fertilizing regularly you should do that anyway :)...See MoreYellowing meyer lemon tree leaves. Please help.
Comments (0)Hi guys, I recently purchased a meyer lemon tree and it was doing well until this week when the leaves began to turn yellow. The yellowing appeared punched out and appears more prominent on the sides. I am not sure what can cause this. My soil humidity level is ok, I'm using parrot which helps to prevent over watering. I've attached few photos. Any help is highly appreciated. I really don't want this plant to die. Thank you!...See Moredshnay
