Carol: That is what a logical person would do, of course. But I am not in a logical position anymore: We were out of the country for 4 years, so no gardenning. Then came back, buying the house and etc. so no gardenning that year. The following summer we put all the landscaping, that was last year. They were working in the good part of planting and growing season, so no gardenning, well minimal gardenning with some annuals and couple of perennials. Now, this year I am gardenning! They are going in and growing (hopefully) ASAP. Can you feel my pain? So, you know, I have no patience left to wait and study them anymore. But thank you for you suggestion. Hi all! I am SOOO sorry that I haven't posted here earlier. Due to clinical for school I won't be able to make it. :( I have been soo busy--I am losing my head! Patty had offered to take some plants and trade for me but honestly, I don't know when I will have the time to dig let alone plant any that I might get in trade. I really wish I could make it. How true, Trudi, Anthony, The onset of the season had DW counting green tomatoes..... hundreds....... I was pleased w/ the health and vigor, hairy Potato leaves in the evening sun..... Vibrant lush green folige, Life was good......THEN... the attack of the killer critters decimated the entire crop ..every plant stripped of every tom, pineapple sized Prues (ahem)Basketball sized Love Apples,and baseball sized Black cherrys....Gone......vanished. . I didn't get to the fencing due to being out of town and they knew it. Plants are fenced now and have copious new blossoms and dozens of new toms. The key word, HOPEFULLY we will eat tomatoes this summer. The first yield would have been 4th of july. Sometimes you never know. Enjoy life. Be Happy.
