roseseek - exactly. Most of the kordes roses look so healthy, they reminded me of those knock-out roses. I like my Austins to bloom well, but at the same time, I don't like the rose bush to be covered in too many blooms that I can't see the foliage. How weird. blocke19 - I live in Victoria. Your SDLM suffered from mildew, and so did mine. I remember you saying that Austins are thirsty shrubs and need plenty of water. I had to water mine regularly. I'm not too fond about growing teas, chinas and noisettes. I just don't like the foliage. The only tea rose that I would like to grow one day is Mme Berard. You're spot on about Teas being the right choice for my location. Every time I drive pass a few suburbs, I would see a tea rose flowering non-stop.

Seven years ago I took an Oxycut wieght loss pill. It set off a panic attack that lasted from February to June. And I mean it was a full fledged attack, racing heart, crying, etc. for five solid motnhs, I lost 30lbs, I could bearly function. I couldn't leave the house and breath at the same time. The paxil got it under control. Paxil was a very good choice at the time. I had tried Buspar with worse effects,the paxil made me feel normal again. Now after seven years, my husband and son comment on how much my personality has changed,I have gained back the weight I lost plus another 40lbs. I have sexual dysfunction and still have a few break through anxiety attacks. I decided to wean off with out telling my doctor. I did it pretty well, as you can see in the above post. Today is day 8. What I didn't realize is that no one was talking about how long it takes to get off. I weaned the way I was supposed to. The withdrawls didn't come until a few days being completely off. I have now found some obscure websites that say it takes 10-25 days/ 2-6 weeks to get rid of all of the withdrawls. Every day gets better,so I don't think I'll be on the longer side, but boy does this suck. The electrical surges, food aversions, stomach problems,dizziness, exhaustion, etc. The side effects are managable. I have not taken anything to ease them. I am making it to work, although I am so exhausted I can't wait to get home. My husband, son and co-workers have been wonderfully supportive. My anxiety has been fine. I can't believe that with today's technology, they have not found medications that do what they are supposed to with out this very addictive quality. I have heard that Paxil is non addictive. I have not read the actual definition of addictive,but if I need to wean off for this amount of time and have withdrawls as long and as intense as I do, I would call it addictive. I have had a decent amount of medical experience, so I think I weanned off well. If you are planing on coming off, talk to your doctor and do it under thier care. Unless something horrible happens, I plan never to go back on this med. If I need more anxiety help, which I probably will (I already do counseling, meditation and healthy eating), I will ask my doctor for a short lived med. Good luck everyone. I went through therapy intended to help with vertigo and balance issues. Can't be sure it's the very same therapy that was suggested to your daughter. I went through therapy twice-first time, I think, it was in 2009. They concluded it was not helpful to me. Second try was done in several years. The diagnosis was affirmed by then, and it was not positional vertigo as was initially thought..and the problems weren't vestibular. The therapists were wonderful, and I'm sure they've helped many people. But I got worse, and never recovered. New symptoms appeared that plainly never went away. The exercises that were beneficial to others harmed me. Maybe because they had different conditions than me, even though some symptoms were the same. Vertigo or dizziness(which is similar but not same..and it's important to understand the difference) or presence of both can be signs of many many things, from side effects of a recent flu to neurological conditions that ultimately have nothing to do with vestibular apparatus. It works just fine while some other things don't. And it takes time to properly diagnose, and sometimes-a very, very good doctor. So, bottom line-it can be very helpful, it can do nothing, and it can-potentially- harm too. I guess it depends on what causes the vertigo. everybody starts with checking vestibular, and they are right-at the very least it needs to be ruled out, including Meniere. But it doesn't mean the problem always lies there. I would try to pursue it and see how it goes. The therapy didn't help me when the condition just started, that's true, but didn't harm me either. It took several more years into the disease to react to it like I did. And it does help to many, many people. But the reasons are important to figure out. As was mentioned already in previous posts. They can be very simple, and they can be anything but. In any cause, she should exercise extreme caution when driving. and of course abstain from it when having an episode. Did the doctor recommend Meclizine to help with the symptoms?

Quarantine Strategies! I'm glad you and your family are better, Faith. Yes, I'm much, much better. It's been about a month since the end of the #2 episode. However, I spent much of December & January koffing and thnnnneeeezin and thnnnnifffiin! I don't know about any of this infectious stuff. My mother was born in 1919, the first spring following the terrible flu of 1918. (Here's a controversy for you: we called it the Spanish flu for decades but it appears from quite a lot of evidence that American GI's sent to Europe were carrying the flu, to and from.) Anyway, I think that Mom was the only one out of 9 children born in a hospital! There was enough fear that her mother made it about 50 miles thru the countryside to a hospital. I mean, there were people going to work in the morning and dying on the streets before they could get home (or anywhere else)! Perhaps, this flu as that one could have such very rapid onset of severe symptoms that even the able-bodied could be at immediate risk. Steve this is an interesting quote from that article, with information that i caught a glimmering of not very long ago: "the first flu virus you’re exposed to as a child may orient your immune system to respond best to that kind of flu virus. This suggests that people who were exposed to H3N2 as children may mount a better immune response to it ... Before 1968, no one was being exposed to H3N2,"
