Yes I have several Musa Basjoo. The 6 main plants are aroud 5 ft tall all with pups. This year I plan on removeing the largest pups and potting. They will be set in a loft area to grow over the winter. The main plants will be dug up. I am debating whether to store them in the basement, which I dont think is going to be cold enough, or put them into a storage center.I have a greenhouse , but it usually isnt heated for winter...maybe this year it will have to be.I also have ornico, jamacan red,cavendish,saba , icecream and a pisang kloteck to over winter.As well as a ton of assorted palm trees. Its to bad winter comes every year.

This decison was the biggest issue before we started to remodel and really held us back from starting sooner (we are now in the middle of it). We wanted to gut the bathroom ourselves but heard how hard it was to get the cast iron tub out. Ours was pink. We had bathfitters come, and the quote was over $3,000 for a custom tub and wall surround. Then we got a quote for reglazing -- $300. He said he would only do it in our downstairs bathroom where we have a window, but will not do upstairs becuase he won't use the chemicals where there is no window -- too dangerous to his health. So we were kind of bummed because getting the tub out from upstairs will be a bear. We were pretty set on reglazing because the downstairs is a guest bathroom and the bath/shower isn't used that much -- unless we move downstairs when we are old :) Then our plumber came to give us an estimate for the rough plumbing -- he suggested not reglazing because it doesn't last, and said here's a hint, take a sledgehammer to the tub -- which we did and it came out in 6 pieces in 1 hour -- and the town took it from the curb. He also begged us not to get our faucets from the big stores so he wouldn't have to rip our walls out in a few years. So now we have a new Kohler white cast iron tub downstairs and are not afraid to face the upstairs bath remodel. We will most likely get Americast upstairs because it is lighter. Just wanted to let you know what we found out about reglazing and an easier way to get the old tub out.

Deborah, I think I’d let the one buds bloom, too! I agree, on your pruning, Moses. Good explanation. Dedorah, When you originally pruned possibly a couple months ago to prep for an April flush, if you prunned those rose bushes down low enough, 6 inches to a foot canes, they should send shoots out in all directions- the lower the prune, the more stems in different direction you may have and new equally healthy canes will grow. At that time it would have given you the best mutiple blooms for April flushes. if you removed the bud now, you may not have blooms until a month or so later, and remiving a top bud onlyva couple inches below-gives you new short splindly growth. depending on how quickly it regenerates. For some reason those bushes with one bloom think the stem w/ a rose is their most healthy stem-first to create a bud. It is possible, other stems on those bushes may be slow growing & have buds, next. That happens to me-one bud appears to bloom then many in a week or so follow. When did you prune and when did you fertilizer? What types of fertilizer? To best create more healthy growth & blooms: Try mixing liquid Alaska Fish Fertilizer and Morbloom Fish Fertilizer together. For roses needing extra help to perform better, I poured 1/2 gallon of my mixed fish fertilizers on each rose weekly for 1-2 months-it truly regenerates them & you see them really turn green, have growth spurts and MORE BLOOMS! When roses are healthy & doing well, I give them 1/2 gallon fish fertiluzer ince a month. Liquid fish fertilizer ”weekly” is the VEST I have ever seen to regenerate! I have seen huge amazing results if appalled weekly for regenerating! A super healthy rose doesnt need fish fertiluzer weekly. However, a poor performing rosecrealky dies well with fish fertilizer weekly. I will use it in my baby roses at the beginning of spring to help them recover from a big winter. Ladt year it really boasted a lot of blooms in baby roses! I purchase liquids: Alaska Fish Fertilizer & Morbloom Akaska Fish Fertilizer from Amazon. Alaska Fish Fertilizer is high mainly in Nitrogen for gteen overall healthy growth. Morbloom Alasja Fush Fertilizer is higher id potassium & phosphotous for more bloom power. Mix & I always use them together for balance results. The Indians first used fish for fertilizing. I have never seen such great results from any other fertilizer!!!!!!! I use it in all potted plants and roses, especially if they need extra help! . Best Wishes! .

I own around 300 Samplize samples and have not had this issue, so I am curious what they are unable to nail down. Samplize uses SW paint to create their SW samples. Matte is going to look slightly darker than eggshell. (Samplize samples are eggshell finish). If that is the issue have the store use the same formula but reduce the colored colorants by 25% (Do not let them reduce the white colorant - just the colors). If that is too light do the same thing except reduce the colorant by 10% or 15% till you get it just the right shade. I have seen more issues with the small sample jars of paint being off than Samplize samples being off when compared to a gallon. If the Samplize sample is vastly different than the store color have them scan the samplize sample and create the color based on the reading. If both the sample of Panda and the sample made from the scan are off it could be that one of their colorant calibrations is off. It that is the case go to a different SW store.
