Mysterious volunteer rose

I found a small pink rose (darkish pink, single to double petaled, small leaves) growing up against a small boxwood late last summer. I didn't plant it there, and I've not had a rose volunteer like that before. The location was close to couple of small shrub roses - Scarlet Meidiland and Snow Cone. Is it possible for them to be responsible for this little one? I didn't get a photo of the bloom. I potted it up early this spring, and it seems to be flourishing, so I'll add a photo when it blooms. I suppose the other option is that it came with the boxwood, but the boxwood has been there for a few years with no rose before last year.

The next closest roses are Julia Child, Jeri Jennings, Tamora, The Bishop, and Moonlight, then Zephirine Drouhin and Mortimer Sackler, in somewhat that order.

I'm in Zone 7, central Virginia.
