just moved starting over- sandy soil veggies
Comments (5)Because of the turtle pen/salmonella issues, I wouldn't plant veggies there this year, especially root veggies, until I'd done a lot of research and was satisfied it was safe to do so. My guess is that the soil is so contaminated with salmonella that you may not be able to grow veggies there anytime soon. I'm hoping I'm wrong. Comments (3)> under a large holly Sounds like yours is getting more shade than mine, Luis... mine is actually in an almost full-sun location (depending on the time of the year it may be real full-sun). After I planted it several years ago I wondered if it might be a wrong spot. But the girl (think it's a she) doesn't seem to care, just eating sunlight and growing large. But it probably works okay because of where I live. I suspect your Pee Wee might melt in the scorching sun in Texas! Yes, definitely, fall brings another enjoyable thing with this hydrangea. Already looking forward to it. :-)...See Moreperen.all Zone 5a Ontario Canada
