I believe it's a souvenir-type spoon. Probably from somewhere she has visited, or that commemorates some event. I don't think they have a name or pattern.

It's here!! I didn't have time to give it more than a cursory polishing. It's cleaning up quite easily, though. And yes, it was only tarnish with a couple of spots where tape had been (?) that left goo. I'm more than pleased! As requested, I took some pictures. It's hard to photograph silver! I have been doing some research, but it doesn't quite make sense to me...perhaps the EPC stands for Ernesto Perez-Carrillo? He is a Cuban-American Master Cigar Maker. What puzzles me is that he is known for his cigars, and from what I have read, he has not made any cases (other than the wooden humidors his cigars come in). *Edited to add that I am still convinced that EPC stands for electroplated copper. Knives are usually not marked because the handles don't really have "backs". Your pattern might be Oneida pattern Surf Club circa 1938 in silver plate. What say ye?
