Yes, that is very pretty tile. However, having read that thread, I think it's just time to ask for a refund and move on. If you wait another year you will find that the tile industry will have finally discovered what a 3-D printer is and will have begun printing molds for their tile that will enable them to make the tile very consistently for a much lower price point and much of what you have been dealing with will be a non-issue. I made stained glass windows for many years. There are cutters that you can get that will prevent glass or tile from breaking on the cutting, but stained glass comes in different thicknesses, you don't see that because you're looking at the flat side but the backside is always uneven. No amount of cutting will ever straighten out uneven depth of tiles or uneven walls. Were you able to lay the tiles flat on the table? Were the tiles all the same height and level? If not this problem is not solvable without incredible effort. Personally, I would discount all complaints about broken tiles that would normally be covered by the molding but any broken tile that's in the center somewhere that's an entirely different issue. I see that the representative for Ann Sacks has repeatedly said they would fix this problem. What is been there most recent effort?

Well that's disappointing. I'm glad I never recommend Ann Sacks tile. The installers should be able to prep your walls unless they are very "off" in which case you'd need to call a plasterer.

There is another method of cutting glass that involves the use of a hot wire and water. My recollection is that it leaves a sharp, clean edge. I have no idea whether this will help, if you can't find an installer willing to touch the stuff. I think it's time to have your attorney draft a letter, you're going to end up suing Ann Sacks.

I wouldn't touch a thing until you talk to your attorney, and I'm not sure why you would even consider buying the same tile again. It's nice, but it's not that nice. And even if you were awarded damages for the first and second attempts, I doubt you'd be able to collect for a third.

Some tiles that are handmade or uneven in thickness will never ever cut straight. So, you plan the entire installation around hiding the cut edges. Like using a Schluter strip at the top and bottom and sides. Or inside corner molding. There is always a nice caulk line at the counter backsplash junction as well A two stage caulk line, building a bit more thickness than usual would also HDR most of that chipping

Adapt your expectations to the tile, or give it up and do something else.
