I had something similar. A friend moved into a house where a reseeding green hosta was taking over every crack of dirt. In the driveway, between the sidewalk cracks, etc. I dug 'em up and put them in my trunk. Now, July weather in Washington, DC is roughly a million degrees of full sun. Well, two weeks later I opened my trunk to throw some groceries in. Imagine my shock when I opened it to a hosta forest thriving happily in the trunk. Had to come back for the groceries. Christine

How bout this small sport of June. I divided a June that looked just like the normal June in the back and replanted a division. The following year this small June sport is what came up. The sport is about 5 years old, I've divided it and planted it in other spots and it is stable at this size and the color appears in low light in fact notice the normal June's color in this shady spot.
