Recommendations of books for a beginner

Hey there,

I'm into my second ever season of growing.

Last year I threw seeds into a cheap store compost and then into containers and was slightly successful. But I didn't achieve anything special and I noticed a lot of diseased plants.

Any who,

I am wanting to learn as much as I can,

I have some tomatoes, herbs, potatoes and leafy greens currently starting to germinate in my propagator.

I have a greenhouse outside in my garden too, the downside is that I rent my home. So the landlord isn't happy with me growing plants straight from the ground, hence why I use containers.

I'm confused with the whole potting mix, use of rock dust, perlite etc. Well more OVERWHELMED.

I've just ordered some quality potting mix from Amazon and I'm going to repot all my current veggies in the new compost when that arrives tomorrow.

I would love any quick advice or even a recommendation of resources. I am not in a financially good situation to spend a lot of money on books, hence why I'm growing my own food (to be more successful with eating healthier and having enough money left over from my pay check)

Thanks :D
