Fungicide Safety

Hi

I recently applied around 10 litres to a fungicide called Mancozeb to my backyard to treat a growth called Dollar Spot. I had done some investigation into Mancozeb and nothing really stood out as a problem, but after I applied it I did some more research and found it to be a possible carcinogen.

Having a dog and young daughter I'm quite worried now and have stopped access to the backyard until I know how long this chemical is active. The half life is 1 to 8 days, but there's something which is a byproduct called ETU which has a presence of 5 -10 weeks. I only applied to 20sm or so and have hosed those areas down in an attempt to wash it off. How do I handle this? Stop access to the yard for 10 weeks?
