Stinky, thank you! I'm just glad you were able to read and make sense of my scratches lol. It would be interesting to hear what others know of the Episcopal Church. This is the one church I didn't land on in my earlier search for my light. I have talked to many Chippewa Indians of late and I do know they are mostly Christians but I never asked their denomination. I consider myself an agnostic because I do believe in a spirit world. Strangely though, all my good friends are educated catholic idealists, exactly opposite in most every way to myself. I have tried out a few denominations though and only had one bad experience in what I refer to as "the case of the one armed Baptist" where he tried to drag me, with his one arm, to the front of this Huge congregation to be "saved" on my third visit. I won't tell you the whole story but it wasn't pretty. Still, my son went to a private Baptist elementary school his first three years but mostly because it was the only private school I could afford then. The public school was in a high crime area. My husband was raised protestant but has agnostic leanings as he ages. Our sons have not made up their minds yet so we still acknowledge the Christian holidays. It's all good, plenty of room for different beliefs!

You are more than welcome. I was in RI sitting there listening to her group sing. She then stopped and said that this song she was going to perform had special meaning to her and she told a story about her grandfather....then she began to sing..I couldn't believe my ears...my Dad's favorite poem set to music. My Dad had just passed away at 92. I was overcome and sat there sobbing quietly. Afterwards I went up and talked to her...we hugged and I thanked her. I am glad I was able to pass this along to you and others. I still have a hard time listening to it as it holds so much meaning all these years later. She is a wonderful talent. Hey lissa: the link to your drawing actually just brought me back to this thread . No drawing. It appears that you will have a large rectangle with a single door to the porch /office. Is the kitchen then going to be w/o any windows? Mine is as it is in the center of the house. You will certainly have lots more room when you close the window wall and have cabs and counters all along there. Also it seems that if you make the door to the porch/office as far to the DR end wall as possible that will get you more wall space in the kitchen if you put the fridge on that end of the cabs as you plan. They have of course fridges with panels that look like furniture so it would blend in. Also is this your only eating area ? If it isn't then you could do an island w/ eating area and incorporate the whole DR area into the kitchen. I really would like to see the drawing to scale and if you repost this so the real talent for floor plans can look at it , it will benefit you way more ! I am an amateur compared to some of the folks on here. c

Oh YUM! That shrimp dish looks delish! I was just reading a recipe recently that called for preserved lemons. Thank you for posting the recipe. Unfortunately, my kitchen is in the process of being demolished so it'll be awhile before I can make them, but when I have my new kitchen, it just might be one of the 1st things I make...then the shrimp dish!
