This could be a Mahonia beale, leather leaf, Some consider it invasive. It is from China. There are mahonias native to US , but not this one

I am not sure which is yours. since you are in the area that the asian has naturalized but you also have the American in some of your area.

That's Mahonia bealei, a non-native species. You can tell by the berry clusters, which are much larger and more condensed than the native ones and also by how developed they are. Bealei is a winter bloomer, whereas the native species (and there are at least 4 species native to the PNW) tend to bloom later in spring and even into early summer. Berries on those are not well formed until quite a bit later in the season.
