Just looked it up. I have never used it but it has calcium and magnesium that most other fertilizers lack. I'd try it for sure!

Fertilizer isn't needed in germination mix. The embryo's don't need nor can they use it initially and it can burn young seedlings. But my plants don't remain in the germination tray for long. Within a few days they are transplanted to individual cell packs filled with either ProMix BX or Metro Mix 360 to which I add a small amount of timed-release fertilizer. Having run out of both mixes early this year, many went into Expert Gardener's Perfect Mix (brand sold at WalMart) and they have done equally as well although I find it doesn't drain as well as either ProMix or Metro Mix so I have to take extra care with watering. Kimcoco, I fertilize with bone meal, granulated tomato food and Epsom salts in the planting hole and sprinkle on some 9-15-15 side dressing at time of transplant. Then I wait until the first signs of blossom set when little fruit peep out and give the plants a good boost of one of those quick dissolving fertilizers with higher numbers on the middle and back end ... like Peters blossom booster formula. Later in the season, I charge the plants up again with some granulated tomato formula or rose formula side dressing like from WalMart in those 3-dollar boxes. I also feed something like Miracle Grow and Epsom salts anytime the foliage looks like it's asking for some help with a green-up. For container plants, I feed them more regularly like every two weeks with a quick dissolving product like Miracle Grow tomato or rose formula, plus Epsom salts. So basically I feed initially for growth, next for blossom production, next for fruit development, then to sustain health and regrowth in the indeterminates. Works well for me.

Well if the concentration isn't listed you will need to calculate it. To do that you need to know what the weight of a teaspoon is grams. I'm going to guestimate the weight of a teaspoon as 6g (table salt is about 5.6g). If a teapoon weighs 6g then that is equal to 6000mg. Since N is 21% by weight that would be 1260mg N. Since ppm equals mg/L, 1260mg/L = 1260ppm. Typically fertilizer recommendations have people dilute a tsp in a gallon (3.78L) which would be about 333ppm which is a pretty standard 'full strength' concentration. Hydroponic tomato nutrient solution recommendations are for about a 4-1-4 ratio fertilizer with a N concentration of around 200ppm. Just diluting to 2L is going to be really hot and risks burning roots. 630ppm N.
