Help !! Has anyone installed Pietra countertops by Silestone?
Comments (287)Susanne, here is a photo from my local Home Depot. They have a display with Pietra and a full height backsplash. The cabinetry is a creamy white, and they did the side splashes as well. It's indoor, store lighting and no under-cabinet lighting. I haven't been able to decide what to do for a backsplash either. I've been sitting with different tiles leaned up against the wall for almost a year....See Morehas anyone used SIlestone Blanco City
Comments (9)Well, this is 7 years after the original post request so probably not relevant for you any more... but I hope this is useful for anybody else looking at the Silestone (Consentino) Blanco City Quartz. We purchased this quartz for our countertops through Home Depot about a year ago in our ADU remodel and we love it! The warm colors work really well with the maple cabinets and terra cotta inspired tile floor. It is warm without being too beigy. It almost reads more as an off-white than anything else. When you look at it up close, you notice all small quartz pieces, color variation as shown in the photo in this thread or in the tiny samples you get from the store. However, as a whole it appears much more uniform and looks great. I think based on the images of the small samples alone, I never would have thought to pick this quartz. As far as the quality, I think it is pretty typical to most others quartz. It doesn't wear or scratch easily; No signs of wear or stains so far and we are a year in. It has a gloss finish and wipes down super easily. It does a pretty good job at disguising dirtiness because of all the color variation. I am posting a handful of photos that hopefully will help to illustrate what it actually looks like installed (mind the cheerios in the sink). Let me know if you need more or want any other tips!...See MoreDoes anyone have Silestone Charcoal Soapstone, suede?
Comments (27)Thanks everyone for taking time to share your experience and pics. We are just about to order charcoal soapstone Silestone... dithering on gloss vs. suede. We are very messy and although I love the matte look... thinking polish is more sensible for us. We are doing white perimeter cabinets (BM Swiss coffee) with a dark stained island/Silestone White Storm counter for that. Hmmm... I think White Storm is available as Polished finish only. Do you think the perimeter and island countertops be the same finish? (either matte or polish?)...See MoreDoes anyone have Silestone eternal statuario? Is it gray or white ?
Comments (1)It's white. This is in polished: This is in suede:...See Morejoebates100
