How many Aeonium cuttings could I take from this?

Hi there -- a few years ago I ordered an Aeonium on eBay that came wrapped up in a damp paper towel and completely infested with ants! I chopped off the infested rosette, let the stem (roughly 5 inches of stem) callus over, planted it in some soil, and misted daily until the stem started showing some growth (tiny little leaves). It's been an easy plant to take care of ever since, and it looks really cool! I've never trimmed it, and it's gotten very tall. I like the height, but I'd also like it to grow out some so I'm thinking about trimming the branches and sharing the cuttings with friends.

My question: how many cuttings do you think I could take from the long branches here? Each of the 3 branches is about 8 inches, but I'd like to leave about an inch of each branch intact for new growth. So I figure I've got about 20 inches total to cut and give away. Do you think one-inch cuttings would grow well after I send them to friends? Would you recommend a different minimum cutting length?

Happy Spring, and thanks for taking a look!
