...for a very, very long time. But today was the day that it was going to maybe entering the hospital.... Yea, my lungs are quite a bit clearer. However, I do still have alot of Asthma and am getting a Nebulizer....so hoping with treatments, things will finally clear up and this will be the last time I am bored and need to bring this stuff to the KT. You all have been so supportive and helpful....thanks!

The nebulizer will help a great deal. Don't be upset if it makes you a bit jittery at first. That generally decreases as you get used to it.

I have always found new bulblets attached to the bottom of bulbs. From Lily of the Valleys, to Hyacinths, to Amaryllis, they all put out new bulbs from the bottom. Once the layer/scale that the bulblet is under, like on mine, dries up and turns thin and papery, it 'sprouts' out of the soil and there is another bulb growing. Sounds like the way my Papilio is doing it, just the way yours does it, it is on the basal plate,under a layer/scale, and once the layer dries out, it will pop through it, sprout and start to grow. Maybe because it is so big now, it is showing through? Which means maybe it will be a 'great mother bulb:)'. That it will make many bulbs, once it is growing and happy, it will become a bulb making 'machine'. Maybe the bulblets on some of your amaryllis are smaller and dont show when you have them out of the soil, but they do come from the basal plate/under a layer/scale. Like that very first Papilio I got that has SO many bulblets removed, and their removal ripped so many layers, it deformed the bottom, and that started me writing here, asking for advise, it is a great 'mother bulb' as Donna said, they took off so many bulblets, wherever it came from, they deformed it. As Donna said, it sounds like it is/was a great mother bulb, putting out so many that they took them off...like 6 of them. Well that first one is still living, no rot yet! And signs of life on it now, leaves at least, so it might put out a lot more bulblets down the road. Where as all my other Papilios didnt have any bulblets on them. They were all removed. BUT this one is under a live layer/scale, so the grower couldnt remove it, without causing major damage. The other 3 Papilios didnt have any bulblets showing...when planted. Well...I am just happy to have a baby bulb growing on the mother bulb, and as long as it grows and flowers and then one day this bulblet pops up, I will be happy:).

I won't comment about the fibroids and enlargement of your uterus, but I've been an ENT nurse for 22 years and I urge you to seek a 2nd opinion prior to having surgery on your sinuses. Have you had a CT of the sinus yet? or at least a limited CT or a sinus series? There is no way (no matter what any doctor may tell you) to tell if it is your sinuses without one of these studies. The CT is the best. There are many ENT specialists who jump the gun, performing sinus surgery that isn't needed. It's fast and easy money for them, and many of them take advantage of their patient's "ignorance" of his/her sinuses. I do not mean ignorance in any sort of demeaning way, but we are all ignorant at some point about certain areas until we are educated about them. So, ask questions, get studies, and don't let someone start "reaming" out your sinuses at the drop of a hat. We have a friend who had sinus surgery with a clear sinus x-ray (he found out later) and he was left with meningitis after the surgeon knicked his brain case and he developed a cerebral spinal fluid leak. He is now deaf in his right ear and suffered from vertigo for 7 years until another ENT surgeon finally had to cut his nerve of hearing to control it (and this, I might add, doesn't always work). He suffered with this for 7 years because the 2nd surgeon waited until the statute of limitations was up for a law suit from the first surgery. They do stick together most of the time. Andierut

One of my favorite colors is "Honeysuckle" by Ellen Kennon. Because of the full spectrum qualities, it never looks washed out. It is warm without being overly so, and can look golden, toasty, creamy, peachy, or champagney depending on the lighting. It looks fabulous with the other colors you mentioned (antique white cabinets, deep olive, deep orange red). My previous home had Honeysuckle walls, an olive rug with maroon accents, maroon and olive drapes and pillows... I miss it. Ah-hah! The nebulizer! (Not before time, if I may say.)

Yes, the albuterol ampules will probably cause some 'jitters', and it's a *boring* five minutes, but your lungs will clear so much faster. How often are you to do the treatments? How do you normally control your asthma?

I have had some "mild" asthma, but this is the first time it has kicked in high gear. Maybe explains why I get so winded so easily.... I am to do the Nebulizer 4 x daily until it settles down.

four times a day!?! That is a lot. If I do one treatment I practically shake apart. At least, I feel like I'm going to shake too much. I love breathing easier though, so I've been known to ask for a treatment. I hope you feel loads better very soon!

In hospital, I had nebulizer treatments every four hours. After discharge I was to use it every six, then every eight hours. I did use Ambien generic to get some sleep. I've had a home nebulizer since 2000. I've also taken Advair 250/50 since then. Breathing is pretty *essential* to living!

I did not notice any "jettery" feeling when I had a treatment at the doctor's office yesterday, but golly darn, I sure have at home today......not liking this feeling!

Today was such a nice day so I went out and sat on my deck for a while...not so sure it was the right choice. The trees and flowers are budding and now my head is all stopped up by what I guess, is allergies!....guess I just need to become a hermit....

I noticed during my 5 week stay indoors that all that phlegm I too often have, stayed away. Now....doors and windows are open some of the day....and guess who's hacking again. Our fruit trees are snowing blossom leaves already. Glad that you are feeling/breathing easier!

"Last doctor Appointment"? Oh dear, I hope not. I do hope you will live much longer and will see the doctor on a regular basis, say, about once a year for general health checkups. [Just kidding. I assume you meant the last visit for this episode.]
