Kitchen color to compliment our gray LR and DR
Comments (4)I love yellow with gray. I however, have lots of that "pear green" color with my gray. In fact the painter comes Monday to paint my 2 story foyer with gray, and the living room will be BM Wasabi. Another color that looks great with it is pink and hot pink. I just painted the insides of my foyer closet and the linen closet (which is in the same hallway but upstairs) in hot pink. It is so cool, and unexpected, but it looks great. Here's my green chair in my gray room. I also have other touches of this color that aren't in this photo. Here's yellow and gray (not my kitchen) And here's pink (Molly Sims apartment): And if you can imagine the walls in their soon to be new gray color, here is my hot pink closet: So much goes with gray. Even purple. Love purple with gray....See MoreLR/DR color decsion
Comments (4)Personally I love the look of a painted ceiling if, & only if, there is molding/trim to separate the ceiling & wall. I tried Blue Sage in my DR that has dark wood trim & while I think that it is a beautiful color I decided that it just didn't work well w/ my dark trim. I thought that the rm. felt cold. On the flip side, I had a kids b-day party the following wk. & lots of the men mentioned that they loved the DR. Yes, a few used the word LOVE. At the time these pic's were taken there was a massive tree in my back yard so the DR didn't get much light. If I had white trim I'd use the color again in a heartbeat. I hope this helps....See MoreNeed help with LR-DR furniture layout
Comments (9)I would place your tv against the wall that has no windows. If you are doing a sectional you could place it along the walls with windows and use a coffee table in the middle. I would definitely use rugs under the dining table and a large rug to anchor the living area. I would use a side table at each end of the sectional. Another idea would be to use two couches in the same way and for more seating add two chairs with a table in the middle. Which you could also do with the sectional. This way the chairs will act as a separation between the dining area and living. Hope that helps. I am sure there are other ways in which you could work the space....See MoreLR DR Paint Help Please!
