Help identifying succulents and cactus, please!
Comments (6)Thank y'all very much. Y'all have helped tremendously. I'm going to Google all of these names and see the turn out. And amarloestodo- hmm, it is in the sun for a good while. It gets about 2-3 hours of direct sun in the morning. I have them on my porch for the rest of the time because I'm afraid of them burning. I live in the Southern end of the San Jaoquin valley and the sun is extreme with temps upwards of 100ð daily. Do you think they can handle more sun than what I'm giving them?...See MoreNeed help identifying cactus/succulents
Comments (4)This cactus does have characteristics of both cacti and succulents, since all cacti are succulents! However, as to what species, I am not sure, guessing a funky Mammillaria....... I don't do cacti, someone with more knowledge will chime in soon I am sure!...See MoreHelp identifying/care advice for CVS cactus and succulents
Comments (15)Hi Chelsea. If no-one else answers, create a new thread. I reckon that more people would be likely to check it out. Lovely looking plants :) Funny how it's so similar to this thread, even the plants lol. I could give only some advice but I think it would be better not to do anything with the plants until your ready with everything at hand from the suggestions from others here that know a lot more than me. First thing I'd do is to get some pots that have large drainage holes. You might be advised to get one a bit bigger for the bottom right one. You'll definitely be told/advised to get a pot for the one in the glass. Also the mix advised above is what probably most here use. Half cactus and Succulent potting mix and half perlite, but the Perlite needs to be sieved or rinsed first. Both can be bought at garden centres and places like that. I hope it all goes well for you and your lovely plants :)...See MorePlease help me identify this succulent/cactus
Comments (3)Unfortunately, this is the only photo I have. It was grown in Ohio over the past summer then brought indoors. I was not the original owner, however I know it began small as it came from a wall hanging planter that was never hung up so it grew upright....See Morehoovb zone 9 sunset 23
