Isn't Hoovb's blog awesome? Its one of my favorite blogs. I'm so sad that he/she is featuring less and less roses because of the horrible drought. I'm not much into succulents, but I still follow the blog :)

Ah, just saw this. Have not been on gardenweb lately. BD is in sun from sunrise to about 4 in the afternoon. In winter, an hour or two less.

Yes, the red is Altissimo. Hurt to remove a lot of roses, but the drought drags on here, and I've learned to love Agaves and Aloes, besides roses. Still love roses, though.

It's so sad that you have to remove your roses because of the horrible drought. It must be a bad one too because roses, once established are pretty drought tolerant. It's nice however that you are now concentrating on the water wise garden. I liked your little valentines post. Was super cute.

I still have some roses. They are remarkably drought tolerant when well established, but with little water, although they are fine, they bloom very little. Without flowers--not much point, unfortunately! Maybe we'll end up with a stretch of very rainy years soon. This year doesn't look like one of them, though.

Hoovb - that's an amazing Belinda's Dream!!! I'm getting one this year. :) I'm hoping for rain for you!
