I learned the different Holly,Azalea & Juniper by the leaves/needles. The Black Berries down South are less round & more pointed. My Southern Raspberries have more of a round leaf, like you trimmed the points off of each leaf. Some one showed me the differences, now I can tell them apart from 10 feet away. Blackberries & Dewberries leaves are the same to me. But what do I know, I have had tame berries for about four years now, some of these people have jellies & jams older then that.

It should be noted that jetbead is considered at least mildly invasive in some areas. This patch was growing by a creek at a park near Flint (photo taken today 11/7/20). Missouri Botanical Garden's Plant Finder page for Rhodotypos scandens says "No appreciable fall color", but apparently it has potential if conditions are right.
