Lennox 80mgf blower fan not working
Comments (4)I do feel it's best to let somone fix it for you but maybe not. Anyhow, here's where the problem seems to be. YOU STATED "Also when is the gas exhaust fan supposed to come on? I think in one try it did not turn on. Later I fed power directly to the motor but it did not help." The "gas exhust fan" is known as induced draft. If it didn't run when "fed power directly" the motor should be replaced. My reluctance was for good cause which is recconizable to one who works in the trade. Far too much can be lost in translation while dealing with flamable gas or electricty. Dealing with both at once is invitation for disaster. Here is an example. When you said "Later I fed power directly to the motor but it did not help." That could mean the draft motor still didn't run,,,, OR,,,,,it could mean the blower motor still didn't come on. No harm,no foul but such way of comunicating is not good while working on gas and electrical. Engineers pride themselves on being exact so you should understand where I'm coming from....See Morewill my ECM blower and furnace work for tax credit with new cond.
Comments (3)No. The equipment rated today to meet the tax credit qualifications does not include your current furnace or coil, so they would not even be found in the AHRI database. The current indoor coil you have now would not properly match up to any new outdoor condenser (and should not be re-used if you replace the outdoor unit you have now). The coil you have now is rated 10 SEER, and the minimum today is 13 SEER (they must be compatible, i.e. 10 SEER/10 SEER and 13 SEER/13 SEER)....See MorePolaris blower not working?
Comments (4)there is a jandy 3 way valve located near spa that sounds as if it works like a venturi valve when in 3rd postion. I can hear a slight suction of air from the pipe and small amounts of air is pulled into the spa. valve is similiar to the automated valves on equipment pad but it is a manual valve that I think is to control amount of air entering spa. it has a skimmer like cover and is in small hole in concrete pad. I've tried all 3 positions so I know that valve is not in a closed position. Also, the foot or floor bubblers stopped working about a year after the pool/spa was finished but the other spa's jets worked fine. almost as if there was too much water pressure in the floor jets/bubblers for the air blower to push air thru entire system? thanks again, Drew...See MoreFurnace cycling, blower only works on continuous or cool
Comments (0)I have an electric Heating/AC unit in a mobile home. The heater keeps cycling on and off in auto, and the blower won't kick on. Blower works when unit is switched to fan or cool. Motor is two month old. I'm guessing there must be a sensor of some sort that isn't working or maybe I screwed up the wiring, but no idea what to look for or how to test this theory. Any advice??...See Morebphocutt
