It looks like aloe juvenna, or perhaps some other spreading aloe. I think it is etiolated. It was not receiving enough light for quite a while. It has tendency to grow like that and 'flop' all over, but should be more compact.

You can separate them - I left the attached pups with the plant & potted others separately (this is aloe juvenna):

I have eventually cut few long arms, stuck them in gritty mix and let them be - they grew roots after a while. Not sure about propagating from the leaves. It also sprouted new arms from where it was cut. Juvenna grow easily, and soon you may have too many...

It will get darker color if in full sunlight.

Thank you rina. Much appreciated. I will try separating it and see what happens.

If I cut some of the long leaves or stems do I have to wait for it to scab before I put them in dirt. Also how deep do I put them.

I always let succulent cuttings to callus; it doesn't have to be for very long - some just for few hours and some 'juicier' ones bit longer. Again, I am not sure if the leaves will grow any roots - never tried that with aloes since they (the ones I have...) usually pup quite a bit. Here is one of the branches:
