Outdoor Dining Set - Does anyone recognize this set? I need a source.
Comments (2)Have a look on Wayfair. Although I haven't seen this exact set, there are some there that are very very similar. They have pages and pages of them, this set may be on there somewhere....See MoreHello all. Looking for a suggestion on breakfast dining set up.
Comments (3)It goes centered under the fan across from the kitchen, I would HIGHLY recommend replacing the fan with a chandelier much better and will delineate the room. There are fans everywhere so I assume you live in a place you need the airflow, otherwise, I would say replace both of them....See MoreDining Room Design Using Heirloom Dining Set
Comments (16)I love that furniture and wouldn’t paint it ... it has beautiful lines, nice details, lovely color, and more depth as is than paint would. I think it works better for a transitional dining room ... it brings the traditional to the mix. I’m a fan of painted furniture, but more for pieces that don’t have original, redeeming qualities (although there are some beautiful examples posted here for sure). There’s nothing wrong with embracing sentimental value, unless it’s something truly hideous. :) I would wallpaper the big wall the bar is on. Of course there are a million photos in searches ... here’s some: https://www.houzz.com/photos/wallpaper-dining-room-ideas-phbr1-bp~t_722~a_3406-20866 You really could go in any direction: bold, colorful patterns, grasscloth in natural or colors, a muted color/pattern. I like your idea of sconces with the bar. You said you have gray in your house, too, which made me think of these rooms using vintage furniture in an updated style: Not vintage furniture here, just showing the wall color and other elements: I hope you’ll keep us updated!...See MoreToo much oak! Paint color suggestions for dining set and hutch?
Comments (8)First get some much better lighting before choosing any colors. You need an actul chandelier above the table and no fan ever in a kitchen or above a dining table. Make sure all your lighting is LED 400K and the DR light lights the table not the ceiling. As for the actual color for the pieces I would not paint the table then a nice pale green might bo good for the chairs and the buffet/ hutch . IMO the hutch should be removed since IMO the corenr cabinet is enough high storage in the space and what is the little cabinet holding I think that could also be removed. IMO if you remove the hutch and just keep the buffet part then you have a space to add some art to the room and alot less eye clutter . I do not think navy and white work at all in your house . BTW all the pictures in the LR need to be hung much lower like the bottom of the frames about 6-8” above the back of the sofa and if they are all family photos IMO you have enough of them so maybe think about another nice oiece of art there instead....See MoreNothing Left to Say
