Australian Native Plants

Need help Identifying this!

I live near Forster N.S.W. I have this growing in my backyard and can't be sure what it is. Closest I can find is "Hare's foot fern" but not convinced by the pictures on the net that it is this. Is a little different than the images I have seen. Anyone?

Ferns can be difficult to identify, there are so many hybrids and cultivars around. Yours looks like a Polypodium but you need to have images of the spores and the arrangement of sporangia to help narrow it down. Have you tried contacting one of the fern societies?

No I haven't contacted any societies, the fern seems to grow wild in the yard as it's not growing in any of the garden beds, so I assumed it was a native from the surrounding area. Just found it fascinating. But thank you :)

Possibly Chickweed, a plant that grows best in a soil that lawns really like, a rich, near neutral soil. Chickweed is a cool weather annual and so it will die off as temperatures rise. Your Ohio State University Cooperative Extension Service can be of help as could this from Penn Sate. http://extension.psu.edu/pests/weeds/weed-id/common-chickweed kimmq is kimmsr

I think what you want are businesses, forums, and clubs dedicated to antique and vintage appliances, especially those dedicated to stoves. You’ll get more expert advice that way. Need help identifying tiles and inspo for other features.

Is that tile textured it looks like it is on my screen. Usually I like the same tile on the bathroom floor as the shower walls to keep things simple so not sure what you are asking . It looks like the tile is already installed in the shower please explain. I would stay away from gold for fixtures but IMO it is atrend that creates issues with matching .Usually there is some info on the box or the back of the tile As for the rest we need a bit of info like size of space , one or two sinks etc?

One site that might help, although it's European based, is called 'growing on the edge'. There are some real keen fern people on it who have great technical knowledge about them. You can google the site and then post photos of the overall plant plus close up details of the various parts.

I have a few different species of fern which still look fairly similar to yours but gave up identifying them. With all my other interests I just didn't have the time. Good luck with yours.
