Comments (18)I chatted!! Thanks to Debby who told me the right time! HAHAHAHA Otherwise I would have missed it. The chat lasted for around an hour and 20 minutes and that was the fastest nearly hour & a half ever! Was just a few of us, - Debby, Kirk & Carol (with Kirk hanging over her shoulder making her mess up HAHAHA), Jeanne, Smickerdoodle, and .... HECK!! who came in kinda late?? I was getting hungry - was lunch time for me & gorgeous outside and I was hankering to play with my pot plants - I have many that need potting up and I'm looking for places to plant other ones.... anyway I was just about ready to sign off when she came on... was it you Tennessee?? Shame on me for forgetting. Topics included: Snow Crocuses Bird Baths Looking for greening in a pine forest JT and Dog Poop A great time was had by all, although without the 'preview' spelling errors abounded - especially by yours truly!! HAHAHA Hope to be a part of it next time and that more of you wonderful people join in!...See MoreAre they 'chat bots'?

Comments (23)I never meant for it to sound like anyone was lacking with help or responses. Also he does not hit me/never has. I do not need a shelter. I guess what I need is just a place to vent. And yes maybe encouragement. I feel if I could get him into counseling many things would change. He is not a complete Jerk. I often blame his parents. Everything to them always came down to nickles and pennies. He is now the same. But in a sick way. Our home was paid when he was 34 and I was 31. He is a very hard working man. I just feel as he has gotten older it is now a sickness. One I cannot take. This is why I was hoping to vent maybe some advice and maybe not feel so alone. I never meant to make anyone here feel as if they were not helping. If I did, I am very sorry. Maybe this is the place to vent/maybe not I just really need to talk. Days like yesterday were awful. Today not much better other than I can tell he feels bad(well in his clueless way) I just need a place to yell and maybe in time find some advice that can get him help. Although I am more than willing to go with him. But as of late things have gotten so out of hand I no longer know if I want to try. Other than I know I love this man. But I also know he needs help, Just not sure how much more I am willing to take! Just honestly in a very confused place. But once again never meant to make anyone feel like there advice was going on deaf ears. I have taken everything in and looked at links. So once again TY Oh and by the way sorry I know I ramble. I just have to many things going on at the moment. Also been worried about a few health issues. but have test next week. Another thing I wish he could just understand and be here for me. But for now part of why I am spassy. Just overwhelmed....See MoreGoogle-Gmail and Video Chat
Comments (2)Janie in GA....I know exactly what you mean with the "sweaty" moisture issues....we live in GA also... DH is a veteran and his hearing loss is service related...it has taken me many years to get him to consider filing for a disability through the VA..and even after allowing me to start the process for him...it was a lengthy process, but to answer your question...the aides are made by Phonak (swiss mfg) and he has a "smart link" his aides are blue tooth compatiable and the smart link is a wireless fm receiver that goes directly to his aides for meetings, church, etc...those kind of things that volume does not help....his biggest problem is understanding what is being said...but now, he hears things he hasn't heard in 40 years and they make him extremely nervous in some situations....the audiologist found his situation unique and has been very helpful. The VA provided all of the items mentioned above, plus his batteries and an alarm clock that buzzes and vibrates under his pillow and turns on a bedside lamp for him....it works GREAT!...See Moredebbyabq
