Bush gone wild
Comments (2)I have no idea which zone I live in - ha ha. Calgary, Alberta if that helps any. The shoots are now up every where within 20 feet of where the bush was originally planted. I'm sad as I don't want to have to dig up the sod to eradicate. I will go to garden centre though and see if I can find the stuff you were talking about. Thanks!...See MoreIn Loving Memory...
Comments (20)Thank you... just knowing that everyone understands makes it a little easier... I've never been without a dog or a furry companion of some kind... I'm allergic to most cats, but I've had a few over the years. My dogs are my "kids", my little buddies... we travel with them, allow them on the furniture, feed them what we eat... they even sleep in our bed with us. I've lost lots of pets over the years, and it hurts just as bad each time... but I also know that I've given them a good life, filled with happiness... and they've filled me with joy and great memories. I know that death is just a part of life, even though it's a tough part, and I can let go. I just miss them... the sadness will pass in time. I've got Maia to take care of, and we'll make new memories. Thank you everyone... you've all been wonderful and very understanding... you've said the perfect things and made me feel a lot better....See MoreI'm so excited!
Comments (12)Polly - There's a local thrift store near us where the money goes to missions. That's where all our stuff goes. Most times the large items that aren't in bags people want before they're even unloaded right! My last trip I took two of those video rockers chairs in great shape and an old school desk (which I'm now kicking myself for getting rid of!) The people there are super nice. That's a good idea to sleep in the room before hand. I do need to get some type of blinds, I wouldn't want to sleep with nothing on the windows. I don't have any pillows so that's on my list. Also need to get over the door towel hangers for the bathroom. No, I don't wash towels with every shower - they don't either so it's ok. :) I do have extra bedding and night stands so that's a plus. I just realized I don't have that many days off to do all this stuff. I need to get my butt in gear! Thanks for all the warm wishes!...See MoreElectrolux Problems
Comments (1)sorry to hear of your issue with them. one of the few mfgrs that I've been happy with has been Electrolux, but I'm not singing the praises of the DW I have of theirs. It vents moisture into the cabinet, drawing termites. bad design, but service has been spectacular. for truly dismal service, try Samsung!!!...See Morelindaohnowga
