Hi, I am currently trying to plan a baby shower and the menu has thrown me for a big loop. I'm not a foody, and have no idea what I'm doing. it's for 55 people and all adults.
So we have thrown together a few idea's.
When our guests walk in, they will be directed to a table with a special drink, and 3 snack food items. - popcorn, trail mix, and chocolate covered pretzels, in a special container they can walk around with. (mommy to be said it's a must have)
The actual meal will be a lunch. - we are trying to stick to foods that can be prepared early and served cold. like an all appetizer meal.
1) pizza pocket thing - 3 kinds - ham and cheese, pot pie filling, and a taco style filling.
2) pin wheels - 3 kinds - turkey club, cheddar bacon ranch, and a pizza
3) basic - meat meat cheese bun - sandwich.
4) slow cooker meat balls
5) slow cooker chilli
6) cheese meat crackers.
7) taco salad in a cup
8) potato salad
9) tuna salad
10) pasta salad
11) creaser salad
12) fruit cup salad thing with whipped cream
13) fruit kabob's
14) veggie trays
15) pickle and olive trays
16) devilled eggs
17) yoghurt, granola, berries. Were also serving desert which i have plan for yet. so is this enough variety or too much. and how much of each thing should i make? If anyone could turn my ideas into a real plan I would be so happy!!!
thanks for all the help
