That's really interesting, how the streaking fades into a third color. Maybe it will stay that way, and you will have a new iris! By the way, those are beautiful plants. Dunno, that is odd on the different shape, but hoyas are such a diverse bunch. I bet Denise or GG would know about that. I have a H. carnosa "Compacta" that has REALLY different leaves, not quite curled enough to qualify as a regular Compacta and not at all Krinkle 8 or anything else. I see different colored blooms on all the different carnosas, too. Very interesting. . . . I really like your carnosa KQ with the solid green leaves and the white spray. Even if it's not some rare new variety, it is really unusual and special. When I have a plant like that, I name it and keep it. ;-)

mariacmp, your most welcome. Since it was 18 years ago and if memory serves me it was around $200 for the chandelier. And somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 for the two sconces. I think I’ll keep it since if I changed out the chandelier I would probably have to change out the sconces as well and they make great bookends. The opening in the living room ceiling to the library above is octagon shaped that’s the reason I chose a chandelier with “8” light fixtures. Best of luck to you.
