I'm finally all caught up with my viewing. And now I'm impatient for Sunday's episode. My biggest complaint about my two BFFs is that neither of them watch DA so I can't talk about it with them. I need to reconsider those relationships; the last 34 years wasted on Philistines. What's with all the shades of purple in the clothes this season? Was purple big in the 20's? Except for the ugly red/orange dress with the blue sleeves (she's worn it twice), Edith does get to wear many lovely things. When Mary finally stops wearing all the black she also has some pretty pieces in her wardrobe.

my sister just gave me that as a present usually them cookbooks are awful, but these recipes looked pretty good!

Just to let you know, it's Downton [pron: Down'-tun] Abbey, not Downtown Abby (I think that was a girl I used to date!).

Our local PBS Animal Health store sells them, very sleek gray colored ones. I happened to be in the store one day when a couple came in with two dogs. One dog is very scared of storms plus extremely insecure anywhere public and the owners thought perhaps a Thundershirt would help. The staff put a Thundershirt on the dog, and it was like magic. The dog stopped shaking, hesitant at first, but then began walking up and down the aisles with confidence. The owners stood with mouths agape. The dog didn't appear uncomfortable with the tight fitting shirt, I thought it made her walk a little stiffly but that could have been just because she was still unsure.
