Scenic drives for fall color, Central Texas?

Hello--I usually hang out in the Antique Roses forum, but I've got more of a generic Texas plant question today, and I was hoping y'all could help me.

We'd like to take a scenic drive in the Austin-ish vicinity to enjoy a little fall color. Admittedly, Texas doesn't have a ton of fall color, but we have some. We don't want to go as far as Lost Maples, and we'll probably be satisfied with a pretty modest dose of color, along the lines of: "Hey, look, there's one flame-leaf sumac! And, hey, that elm is kinda yellow!" Our expectations are low, is what I'm saying.

The internet has suggested that we try: Lost Maples, the Devil's Backbone, Lost Maples, Inks Lake, Lost Maple, Lost Maples, and also, perhaps, Lost Maples.

Do you have any other suggestions? Devil's Backbone & Inks Lake are fine options, but we'd just like to know what else might be out there.

Thanks for any and all advice!
