Frito or Cheetos Dessert Recipe?
Comments (4)Yeah, I think the Fritos one is called "Trashy Toffee". It's addictingly yummy! Here's the recipe from Cookie Madness: Sweet, Salty, Frito Candy or "Trashy Toffee" 2 cups pretzels 1 cup Fritos 8 mini peanut butter cups (cut into quarters) 1 stick unsalted butter (8 tablespoons) 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (or however many you want) Optional: Some peanuts for the top Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a 13Ã9 inch pan with parchment paper or no-stick (Release) foil. Place pretzels in a ziplock bag and crush/break-up with a rolling pin - donÂt pulverize. Add Fritos to bag and break them up with pretzels. Dump into pan. Unwrap peanut butter cups, cut up, and throw them in the mix. Place butter in a non-stick saucepan and melt over medium heat. When butter is melted, stir in brown sugar. Bring mixture to a full boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring once or twice. Pour over Frito mixture and bake for 8 minutes. Remove pan from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over hot candy. Return to oven for 1 minute to soften chips. Spread softened chocolate chips over bars. Cool at room temperature until you feel the pan is cool enough to be transferred to your refrigerator, then transfer to refrigerator to set the chocolate. When chocolate is set, lift from pan and break the candy up as you would almond toffee. You can eat it cold or let it come back down to room temp. It doesnÂt have to be refrigerated, really....See MoreDS kept dropping hints for caramel cheetos
Comments (21)They taste like caramel cheetos/or cheese puffs! That's the only way I can describe them. When I made them for DS and his DW, DS said when they took them home, she could not pass by that bag without tasting :o)...See MoreQues about those caramel cheetos...lindac ?
Comments (4)Don't know....never made them....just ate them....and now I have the recipe ...hee hee!! I would guess if you can keep moisture out they will keep for a week or 2. Anything that will keep them from getting soggy would work.... Or...just eat them!! Excuse me.....but they really are the ultimate junk food! I mean Cheetoes and caramel corn stuff??? EWW!! But...if I had some my hand would be into the dish! Linda C...See MoreCarmel Cheetos!

Stir often Remove from fire. Add baking soda. Stir. Pour over cheetos, and toss QUICKLY . ***i USED TWO 9 X 10, ALUMINUM PANS Bake at 250 degrees F. for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Pour out on waxed paper rubbed with additional butter or cooking spray. Quickly separate the Caramelized Cheetos ****I used the bottoms of TWO broiler pans that I sprayed, put gloves on, and quickly separated, so you won't end up with big globs. Let cool, IF YOU CAN BEFORE SAMPLING!...See Moreshirl36
