Jingle Bells? No?

I gotta go with When October Goes. I have that on Barry's "2:00 AM Paradise Cafe". It was popular in the early 80s I recall.

I was going to say I'm stuck on band aids, too or It's the Real thing for coca cola. (I think he wrote that, not sure.)

There are so many.....but I will go for an obvious hit and say Copacabana.

Are we considering his jingles as songs?

Now I'm wondering if I read the question wrong. I totally agree that jingles should be considered because they are songs....but I'm wondering if the question is "was NOT sung by Barry Manilow"...

The man is prolific and was writing jingles and songs or other folks way before becoming a solo artist. So I'm having a REAL hard time with guessing this one! :)

I know he was musical director for Bette Midler, but I can't think of a song he wrote for her. I know the Beach boys wrote, "I write the songs." So I can't think of a non jingle that is popularly sang by others...Having said that, I really don't think it is band aid, I think it is probably that other crazy popular jingle from the insurance company, but I am sticking with band aid, just cause...

I have no idea what the answer is, but every time someone mentions Barry Manilow, I remember a funny line from the Will & Grace episode "Fanilow." Karen: Did someone say a mary needs a line of blow? Will: I said we're in line for Barry Manilow!
