Well, I clicked on the QVC link and got a website for Westminster Crackers, LOL. I've already gotten Bruvver's bike and Makayla's Girl Gourmet Cake Bakery online and already delivered. I do have to assemble the bike. Elery and I are not buying gifts for each other. The girls will get cash. I drew the name of the new-soon-to-be-daughter-in-law/fiancee on Elery's side of the family and there's a $100 spending limit, so she's getting a gift card to Musician's Friend, she's a music teacher. I ordered that on line Some stocking stuffers and "Santa" gifts for the little kids on Christmas Eve and I'm done. I did promise Amanda I'd take her shopping so she can finish up her stuff while I play with the kids, and Makayla still needs a prissy dress. Oh, and I got tickets to see "The Nutcracker", I got those on-line too. Bruvver is going to stay and play with Elery, he doesn't want to see "The Nutcrapper". LOL Annie

kathy-- doesn't that make you so darned mad??? I had been ready to place an order with Eddie Bauer with a coupon code, but nowhere on the screen did it mention that the discount would be applied BEFORE the card was charged. So I nixed the order and sent E.B. an email stating my problem. Never heard back from them. I've placed an incorrect order (Williams-Sonoma) before, and even though I called customer service immediately after, I was told they couldn't promise me a correction. Sure enough, no correction. Another email to company, and nothing.

I bought a 6 qt Instant Pot on Amazon for DD at a good price and a couple of flannel shirts for DH at Eddie Bauer. He likes slim fit tall. But EB notified me today one of the shirts is sold out! How could that be they let me buy it yesterday and now tell me it’s not available? I was not happy about that, especially since they were 50% off yesterday only. And of course it was the one I really wanted in his fave school colors. I also got the hiking poles for DGD with a $20 gift card to use later. So I’m saving it for another purchase. Also picked up a few other odds and ends for stocking stuffers or dirty Santa gifts.

My mom used to wear the old regular Chloe as well as the most beautiful fragrance called Odalisque by Nettie Rosenstein. It's still available, but none of the accompanying items such as body powder or bubblebath are any longer. I often wonder if it's still the same since it's been bought out or if they just kept the name. There used to be just one outlet in every city that sold it. When I heard my mom mention it once we bought her the Xmas set and wow!, it brought back so many childhood memories. I used to be a big perfume junkie having many favourites through the years, but now I just wear a pure ylang-ylang, lavender or rose essence.
