I have used corn gluten meal for the past 4-5 years. It is hog/sheep/chicken feed and also Preen Vegetable Garden Weed Control. I don't know what's in regular Preen never used it. I get it at the feed store, they have granular you can apply with a broadcast spreader or the traditional feed is a a gritty yellow/orange powder form and I can toss that, make a line around the edging. (granular costs more) This also is a slow release 10% nitrogen for the plants. Last season I have it marked as application date of first week of March. I garden by the moon, so this week is the week to apply. I also marked for this year to apply again every 90days. I had a summer weed emergence that I didn't enjoy at all! Corn meal is a funigcide inhibitor not for seed pre-emergence application. For the fenced beds I don't rotate due to the deer population, every March I apply cornmeal and dry molasses (horse feed) with my bunny poo and the bed is like new again. Rabbit droppings don't have weed seeds, they digest everything into perfect pellitized slow release manure. Last year in March when I tossed the corn meal and molasses on the melon patch I had hundreds of honey bees swarm the bed that afternoon. I would make sure you shroom compost is aged for a year, otherwise it may be too hot for your babies. Ok, done for now Sorry for being so long winded!

I don’t own this, but had a double oven range left by the previous owners before we remodeled. I hated the bottom oven (actually hated the whole thing, but those issues don’t apply to the pictured model) because of how LOW to the ground it was. The door opens to a few inches above floor level so with small kids and pets it’s a bigger hazard than a “regular” range/oven that has more clearance from the floor. Hauling out a large roast or turkey was a pain and I was still young, strong and limber so I could not imagine dealing with it as I got older and by extension, less strong and less flexible. And cleaning that thing? Ugh. Same issue - crawling around on the floor and scrubbing is not my idea of a good time even when I’m young and able, so again, thinking about how that would go when I was older wasn’t a fun thought. I strongly suggest you go see these types of ranges in person and simulate taking large/heavy pans out of the bottom oven, how you would clean it, etc. and go from there so you can make an informed decision. If you still like it and think it would be fine for you, then go for it.

Here are photos taken 11:30am PST. They completed install last Friday so is still hazy from dust. My front door faces East. Photos probably dont translate plank color accurately. I would say it has balance of taupes, browns and slight hint of gray. It is a matte finish. We were hoping for a slight sheen, but couldn’t sample with coloring we liked.

I did kind of find a work-around for this issue. OK so if you can go to FB on your phone, it seems to behave differently. You can click the three dots "..." that is in the upper right hand corner of a post of the group or person you were trying to snooze, now click the hide option that is a little x next to the word "hide", at that point options for different snoozing will pop up and you can snooze there. Then when you go to FB on your computer, it will still be snoozed for 30 days. All this being said, I am using an Android phone with Android 11 and browsing FB with firefox. Hope this helps someone! It is so nice not to have a zillion posts popping up in my newsfeed from my old hometown's FB page!
