Hi finedreams, I had the identical thing happen to me with SD and SS. They both lived with us in there late teens and early twenties while in high school and college. They would take whatever they wanted. I lost silverware, dishes, potholders, drinking glasses, hair products, towels, blankets, personal care products, toliet paper, the lists goes on and on. One time SS (17 years old at the time) announced to DH and myself "I'm going to mom's and I'm taking tolietpaper (while he held a roll of tolietpaper up for us to see) because she is low on tolietpaper." Wow, I was so in shock I didn't say a word and DH said nothing. After he left I told DH that had to stop. DH said nothing. Another time DH and myself were in our bedroom sleeping and were planning to leave on a trip early in the morning. We had our luggage packed in our bedroom. SS arrives home at 12:30 AM and sneaks into our bedroom and starts going through my luggage. I believe he must have been looking for my contact solution. DH had given him money to go purchase some a couple day prior and reminded him twice. SS choose not to get any but instead was digging through my luggage. I was shocked again. I believe alot of my kitchen items went to BM house because she went through a second divorce and her second husband took some of the kitchen items. I believe SS felt sorry for her so decided he would take my things (which were my items before marrying DH) to help mom out. He never asked DH or myself and did it sneakingly. A couple of the beautiful potholders that disappeared were handmade by my grandmother that she gave me before she died. I wish now I would of hid them. I had them in the back of the potholder cabinet and rarely used. I was so very frustrated. When they lived with us as adults I purchased twice as much personal care products. Frequently, I would go to use my shampoo, contact solution, lotion, dental floss, etc. and I would be out or it was gone. I tried talking to DH about it but he did nothing. So, what I did was take my large suitcase with a lock on it and placed items that where important to me and locked them up. It was a hassle to go unlock the suitcase if I needed something, but it stopped the disappearing items. This was a few year ago and they no longer live with us, but it still gets me upset to this day when I think about. Because of this I do not want the step kids alone in our home. Just a couple weeks ago SS was home from college and in our house alone for only one hour while DH and I went to church. Well, another expensive item disappeared. DH was looking for it the other day and couldn't find it. He called SS and yes he had it. I always thought how inconsiderate these kids were and I resent DH for not saying anything. I do not trust either one on them. I believe they think we owe them. I feel that the way they have treated me, I owe them nothing.

Gertie, I hear you about using less. I never use antimicrobial handsoap, except when we used to raise pigs. There was nothing else that would remove that smell on the hands. I often just use the universal solvent, water to clean counters, stove top, tables, etc. I listened to Teri Gross, on NPR, interview a science writer, Ed Yong. He says billions of microbes that live on and within our bodies affect digestion, immunity, body weight and general health. His new book is 'I Contain Multitudes.' It was fun to listen to. I know many of us have heard of some of this already, but very interesting. I am considering getting the book. Mamap, My Vaska tabs are the Lavender, I like the smell but haven't used them yet. I remember how much you liked them when @Rococo sent you some. The smell of lavender in theory should be one I love, hahah, but its not. Sometimes it works and sometimes, its too too something. But in the Vaska I will like it. The Le Blanc came in the mail today, I think the original is an unusual smell in the bottle, but I am looking forward to using it once it has been through a load of sheets. Regarding down wash, I splurged and bought the Le Blanc Down Wash and it came too. I am ready to wash my multitude of small couch comforters. I have 4 that we pose as couch potatoes. Then of course the bed comforter is down too, and will need a wash this next spring before I put it away for the summer.

Thank you all.. you are all too sweet. My whole plan changed when I stopped in a fav boutique on Friday.. I thought maybe I'd get a bag but had no intention of looking at jewelry. I had soooo much fun with the owner that I had to just go for the splurge. The accessories cost more than 8x the dress but I will wear them all again and again. I have so many underwire popping stories it's ridic. I have grown to abhor underwires .. and yet, I still wear them! My worst story was a button fiasco. I went to an interview in a beautiful mocha silk button-down shirt.. but had no idea that the two buttons had worked themselves out of the silky button holes. They were the top two buttons so I am assuming that between the suit jacket and carrying my briefcase, the material had been strained across my shoulders and pulled it open. The first button would have been ok-- a little daring for the office but ok. The second totally crossed the line! I went the whole way through the interview with my bra and cleavage showing!! (Yes, I got the job.. no, I never mentioned it to my boss.) Yeah, I've pretty much always been a hot mess lol.

I have heavy breasts and have struggled with bra shopping for years (anywhere from 34-36 DD-E). My issues were always neck and shoulder discomfort. I was introduced to the Fit Fully Yours line after a custom fitting at a specialty lingerie boutique that I had to drive 2 hours to get to (I live in the boonies). I was a bit skeptical because I'd never even heard tell of Fit Fully Yours before, and they're not cheap, but I bought one that day. Then I went back a few months later and bought another. Turned out to be the best thing I've ever done. I haven't worn another brand since, but I have no personal experience with their sports bra. (I wear the Maxine Moulded which says it is 'engineered for women with heavy breasts'... maybe that's mainly just marketing hoopla... but it's worked for me!)
