George and his cat
Comments (21)George; I know this is so hard-- Leone will read to you our posts and let you know how much we love you. We do! We love you and the man you are, the one filled with courage and bravery. The one who always did the right thing and always went beyond what was asked of him.....and always stood up for what was right. Only now you have to be brave for yourself and protect the body of the amazing person you are. It is time to use your courage for YOU, not someone else. YOU need it now. We will do our part and think of you and pray for you and love you---the miles will melt away and you will feel our love and strength come to you as you need it. Let us help YOU, for once. Let us help YOU with this burden---just let us in---you'll know we're with you, beyond a shadow of a doubt, George. That's what love is,---it's beyond a shadow of a doubt and it feels good and it soothes and comforts and heals. Let us help, that's all I ask of you. Just LET us help---because you love us, too.... All my heart, all my love, Kathy (Leone, we love you, too---please don't feel alone. We're here for you, too.)...See MoreOn the news

Comments (34)Just got back on-line, was gone yesterday. Sunflowers for your granddaughter and her baby, and for George and Leone. I don't know if I told this story here before. Two years ago, my nephew and his wife had an emergency C-section at seven months. The baby was born dead. They worked for 45 minutes to revive her, but she was extremely critical. They air-flighted her to the cities, but didn't think she would last the night. The NICU doctors said she was the sickest baby they'd ever had. She was so perfect and beautiful even though she was only 3 lbs. 7 oz. Docs said if she survived, she'd be blind, on a respirator, paralyzed, etc. A vegetable. We were devestated. Her little organs began to shutdown. I won't go through the rest, it was awful. Today that little "vegetable" is a perfectly normal tornado whirlwind who runs like the wind and climbs like a herd of monkeys and jabbers non-stop. A complete miracle. I wish the same kind of miracle for your granddaughter and great-grandson. My great-niece's only problem is severe pigeon-toes and crooked calves. She kind of crab scuttles when she walks (runs). The doctors may send her to Shriner's for surgery when she's 12 or 13 if the legs and feet don't straighten....See MoreUser
